The St. Kilda Saints remain atop the 2009 AFL Power Rankings, as gauged by the Sports Power Rankings “Formula”.
St. Kilda, which has won all four of its matches to date by an average of 57 points, is one of two remaining unbeaten teams in the AFL. The other undefeated squad, the Geelong Cats, made the biggest leap of the week, moving from ninth to No. 3 in this week’s AFL Power Rankings.
The Saints will face the No. 2 ranked Port Adelaide Power (3-1-0) in Round 5. Friday’s match is at AAMI Stadium in West Lakes, Adelaide, Australia.
The Western Bulldogs took the biggest hit in the updated AFL Power Rankings. The Bulldogs (3-1-0) fell from No. 3 to No. 10 after suffering a 33-point defeat at the hands of the West Coast Eagles in Round 4.
